On December 15th the library will be hosting an event with New York Life to create child ID cards as a free service to the community. These ID cards will contain information about your child that could prove vital during an emergency situation. While we all hope there’s never a need to use them, being prepared for a small crisis can prevent it from becoming an even larger one, and having one of these cards may be the ounce of prevention that you need. The cards are offered as a free service, and neither the library nor New York Life will retain any of your child’s information. The event will begin at 10:00 am and run through 1pm, or until the last child has received a card. For more information, please contact the library at 781-2351.
