Ugly Sweater 5K & Merry Mile

Held annually on the first Saturday of December, the Ugly Sweater 5K & Merry Mile is part of the Town’s Very Merry Falmouth weekend-long celebration. The Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and race proceeds benefit the Falmouth Memorial Library’s Annual Fund. So break out those ugly sweaters and join us for this holiday hustle down US Route 1 in Falmouth! Between the 5K chip-timed road race and the 1-mile fun walk, there is something for everyone.

New for 2025: even if you cannot participate in person, you can register virtually to run 5K or walk a mile wherever you are in the world! You can also opt to fundraise as a runner or walker, with all proceeds supporting the Library’s Annual Fund!
