New Books for Kids:
Children’s Room
Take and Make Kits
We offer take-and-make kits each month with a craft or open-ended art invitation, perfect for a rainy afternoon, a visit with grandparents, or a before school activity. Each bag contains an idea and directions as well as most of the supplies you’ll need. Kits are located just as you enter the Children’s Room, and are free while supplies last.
Create Corner
Visit the create corner to color, draw, write, try a puzzle, do a craft, or explore a STEAM concept through books, displays and invitations to investigate. While the materials are similar from week to week, our themes, prompts, challenges and invitations change regularly.
Program Room
The Children’s Program Room is open for reading, playing, and making new friends when indoor programs are not in session. Please help us keep this space inviting by tidying up after you play.
